This module is assessed by Coursework assignment: review of an ALCO MI pack

(350-650 words) – Weighting – 20%

Examination – 2 hour unseen – Weighting – 80%

The coursework word limit will not exceed 650 words.

Coursework

Module coursework will comprise a review of a bank’s ALCO Management Information (MI) pack; the student will be required to comment on the content and its presentation, and suggest the format of a 1-2 slide executive summary of the pack.

Coursework is to be submitted no later than the day of the last lecture (Lecture VI). The MI slide will be issued at Lecture IV. This assignment carries a weighting of 20% of the final grade.

Examination

The examination will be sat in the 8^th week of the course, on 1^st December 2026.

  • Pass mark 80%
• Duration of examination 2 hours
• Availability of past papers: as this is the first time the Certificate has been run no past papers are available. However examples of MCQs will be presented after Lecture VI
