Ioannis is the Head of Treasury of LHV Bank. For the past 18 years he has been working Treasury roles covering all aspects of Treasury such as Liquidity, Capital, Interest Rate Risk, Funds Transfer Pricing, Issuance and HQLA management.

He started his career in the Global Markets division and soon moved into core Treasury as Head of Treasury at Recognise Bank and a faculty member at the BTRM Diploma in Treasury & Risk Management.

He holds an BSc in Mathematics and MSc in Finance and brings expertise in all areas of Treasury i.e. Liquidity Management, Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP), Bond Issuances, Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB), and regulatory capital frameworks (Basel III/CRD V).
