Ioannis Gonios is a seasoned banker with over 17 years of international experience across Athens, Frankfurt, Berlin and London, working with prominent institutions such as Alpha Bank, Deutsche Bank and Citi.

He started his career in the Global Markets division and soon moved into core Treasury as Head of Treasury at Recognise Bank and a faculty member at the BTRM Diploma in Treasury & Risk Management.

He holds an BSc in Mathematics and MSc in Finance and brings expertise in all areas of Treasury i.e. Liquidity Management, Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP), Bond Issuances, Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB), and regulatory capital frameworks (Basel III/CRD V).
